Our Provincial Wound Program, initiated by the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness, aims to provide consistent, evidence-informed wound care across the continuing care sector. Since its launch in 2021, the Wound Care Program has expanded to allow residents or clients to be seen in their home instead of transferred to the hospital.
